When is are we officially dating coming out

Here are telltale signs it’s time to define the relationship. (I’m not saying to define yourselves with labels if you’re not there yet (emotionally) but you can always define it as “friends with benefits” or “on the way to exclusive” status so both of you are on the same page.)You just can’t help it.They take up a large percentage in the pie chart in your brain: it’s the person (about 90-95 percent), then the rest of your activities, like eating, sleeping, and working. We were basically in a non-relationship-relationship. Well…last night we had a sort of “define the relationship” talk because I was tired of feeling like I was wasting my time falling for someone if it wasn’t going to become anything.“We never had ‘the talk,’” they may say as a defense.Or maybe you’re the one who doesn’t want to commit to to them 100 percent yet.It doesn’t mean I’m not sad and hurt and disappointed. I want to take the time to be upset because even though I wasn’t in a relationship, I still ended something with someone that I’ve shared a chunk of my life with. And you’re allowed to eat as much Nutella as it takes to feel better. In these situations, you have to take the same steps that you would if you had a “real” breakup.

I’d say that’s pretty good for a wise-cracking scene-stealer.
