This will allow us to override and change some of the behavior we don't like. We'll allow developers to set the Save Button ID on our grid, and we'll take care of setting up all the event handlers.

One of the first things we want to change is how the rows get created. The IDReference Property tells Visual Studio that this property contains the ID of another property on the page.

To work around this, we recusively climb the tree of Naming Containers to find our button.

Adding Xxxxx Changed handlers to the controls allows us to know when a control in a row changed values.

I have a two text boxes named region id and region name.a button control I enter some values into those text boxes and click the button to insert those values into the "gridview"and a "data table" associated with the gridview.

The gridview has the "enable editing" set to true.when i click the "edit" button of a particular row in a gridview i get no response...i.e i do not get editable textboxes as it happens normally...

We have added support for Buttons, Link Buttons, and Image Buttons, but there could be more controls you want to include.can't explain strange behavoir, maybe has order of css-rules?input[type=checkbox]:checked label { background: #00bf00; background: -webkit-linear-gradient(top, #00bf00 0%, #009400 100%); background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #00bf00 0%, #009400 100%); background: -o-linear-gradient(top, #00bf00 0%, #009400 100%); background: -ms-linear-gradient(top, #00bf00 0%, #009400 100%); background: linear-gradient(top, #00bf00 0%, #009400 100%); filter: progid:dximagetransform.microsoft.gradient( startcolorstr='#222', endcolorstr='#45484d',gradienttype=0 ); /* edit: update below:*/ filter: progid:dximagetransform.microsoft.gradient( startcolorstr='#…The click event of all these controls is routed to the same Save Clicked handler which calls Save(). On a Tangent: You might wonder what the Recursive Find Control function is. Well, Find Control() works great when we are not using Master Pages, but if our grid is in a different Content Section than the Button, Find Control() won't find the control we are looking for.Find Control() is scoped to the Naming Container that our control exists in.
